well ur going to want a nice proc…so if u have the money go for a i7 quadcore at least 2.8 ….if u dont have the money for that get a 3.5 quadcore…u need at least 4 gb ram….other than that get a 9800 gxc card 100 gb harddrive and that should do u just fine…
with CAD u need some high end proc and ram so u can render stuff fast and easy
with AutoCADD you will need a pretty good graphics card.
It runs fine on my system (2.4 quad core, 8gb ram, geforce 9400)
you probably won’t need specs that high, but i’m just saying.
Get a nice, fast CPU. i7 is preferable. Bare minimum of 4GB of RAM, preferably 6GB or 8GB depending on the chipset. If at all possible, GET AN NVIDIA QUADRO VIDEO CARD. A workstation card like a Quadro will stomp the snot out of a commodity card when dealing with CAD. They’re a lot spendier, but if you can swing it, get the very best one you can.
Everything else is gravy. Don’t skimp on the hard drive. A Western Digital Caviar Black would be dandy.
Hello,
Basically you need to take into consideration a workstation that can handle optimal rendering, therefore you need a good video card and a good processor (either Intel Core Quad or the i generation) as well as minimum 4 GB RAM. Those 3 are the main factors to take into account when working with any CAD-related product.
Her are some specs from an authorized AutoDesk system builder:

Hope this information be of any help. Take care.
