Any vehicles value is based on what people are willing to pay for them used. the values will fluctuate based on the economy and peoples needs and the dreaded supply and demand theory. If theye are limited number of them for sale the price can be high based on demand, however if there are more for sale than the demand for the vehicle, then the values are low and this will never change. Oh Oh what a feeling.
The prolem isn’t that the 4Runner is an inherently bad vehicle, ut that it belongs to a thirsty class of vehicle known as the body-on frame SUV. So compared to other Toyotas, the resale value is horrible. But the pricing is within $500 of the Nissan Pathfinderm but about $4,000 more than a MJercury Mountaineer or GMC Envoy.
well, the economy is bad, so car sales are low, even used cars. and to add to that, people are more concerned about the air quality, and gas prices, so suv’s are the last cars to buy on a lot of people’s lists.
