I am writing a novel for the first time but the point is that sometimes i can’t figure what to write next. I mean i know about the plot but can’t really express in suitable or nice easily readable way.I wish to improve myself for writing and for that i need a software which is perfectly free!and honestly i don’t want a demo or a trial version or if that is the only choice i have got then it could be one which allows at the least 30 days trial.I want the software which helps during writing, corrects the grammar and helps along the way.please is there really any software out there like that? And also which makes novel look creatable. Thanks
P.S: I don’t want jokes or something like that.

www.writeanovelfast.com After writing and publishing my own books, I refined the process of plotting and wrote an international best-selling book called The Marshall Plan® for Novel Writing that thousands of writers have used to successfully create their own novels. But many of my readers wanted something more — something that would streamline the process of novel writing, while remaining true to the principles of plotting outlined in my book. I teamed up with editorial consultant and fellow literary agent Martha Jewett to create The Marshall Plan® Novel Writing Software.

Does anyone know any good freeware writing software, that includes things like a -good- spell check, word count, and an ok array of font types?
Something like Abiword but better?

I wanted to do screenplays & I found celtx, it’s free & pretty great, but now I wanted some writing software for books

I’m sure there must be a better option out there than using strings/pushpins and notes on a corkboard, but I don’t know what the options are. Any actual writers have knowledge of or use anything like what I’m trying to find?

I had finale note pad downloaded for free on my computer but i got rid of it when i got a new computer. Now i went to the finale site and you can only get notepad for 30 days then you have to buy it. Does anyone know how to get this or any good music software for free and please include the site. Thanks!

I’d like something that helps writers format their manuscripts in a fashion editors like it.

I’m getting an iPod touch soon and I write stories for fun, mainly fanfiction. I wondered what app would be best for that? I don’t get much of a chance to do it on my pc because of parents.

I am interested in purchasing some novel/book writing software and was wondering if anyone could recommend some?
Is it worth it or is it just a waste of money?
Have nay successful novels been produced through the software?

Thanks!
I was just interested in it because some software provides correct structure and pacing for novels, and they have programs to ensure character development and consitencies…that was all. :)

I have not given any of the answerers to my question a thumbs up or a thumbs down, and until your sadistic edit I found your answer quite helpful. I was looking for opinions as to whether or not the software was useful, and I value your opinion just as much as the opinion of the person who disagreed with you.
On another note, you said I was in no position to call myself a writer. It is true that I am not an author, but I am a writer. I love to write, and regardless of whether or not you personally think I am capable, my love of writing is still there, and so I believe myself to be a writer.
Every writer has their own way of developing their stories and their own way to write, and if yours is without books, advice or software, then wonderful, congratualtions to you! I would love to know where YOU learnt to write a novel perfectly. Every writer has to begin somewhere. :) I’m just trying to find my beginning.

Thank you for your advice, I appreciate it. And thank you to everyone for your helpfulness and suggestions, I don’t think I’ll waste my money. :)
