I deleted everything on my hard drive by mistake. I have the Windows XP disk, but everytime I turn on my computer it says “operating system not found”. I tried putting the disk in but nothing changes. I restarted the computer with the disk in and nothing happens. I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop if that is necessary information. Help!!

I also need to keep my existing journal system. If sharepoint does not support this, what software will?
I do need to integrate them, and they need to be available for all clients to update and modify.

I’ve read that GarageBand is the best music composing software for the IMac and I’d like to get something similar. Is there a GarageBand version for Windows or another app similar to GarageBand?

I’ve spent the past few days installing and checking out random ticketing software written for PHP/MySQL, and they all suck. I just need a simple interface that can import tickets via email, assign to a queue/owner, easy to install, intuitive interface, but I’ve so far fallen short. Any suggestions?

I have heard having too much security can be harmful to your computer but I think thats if you have 2 antivirus software programs. Am I wrong?
Thanks guys Sorry, I have Webroot. Which in my opinion is doing a decent job protecting my computer. The reason why i have to much security is because my antivirus is about to expire. I really don’t want to pay another 60 bucks. Any advise?

Visit pcwizkid.blogspot.com for more tips. In Windows XP it is not uncommon to have experienced a corrupt registry or a missing DLL file, or having a blue screen of death. So best prepare yourself by backing up your system files on a regular basis. Prevent a disaster and having to restore your entire operating system, just backup your files, so you can restore them if needed later.

I want to buy a discount PC online from a reputable source. The only problem is that it has been wiped of all software including operating system software. I’m not sure what all that means, but I assume that means it won’t even have Windows.
If it doesn’t even have Windows, will it even run? What software would I need to put on it? Where can I find this software? How do I put it on it? Would it just be better to either use an expert to do this or buy a PC with operating system software?

I just bought a used Asus U81 net-book, and I am wanting to do a full system restore. The netbook came with windows vista and they used the upgrade disk to windows 7. The people I purchased it from never set up a back-up point, nor did they have the restore disks, and the only options I can find requires one or the other.

Is there anyway to do a full system restore, preferable to factory settings?
