Ok i have an old windows 98 IBM laptop and i want to intall windows xp on it but before i do, I want to delet everthing and then install windows xp and yes i DO have a windows xp home edition cd so can you tell me how to reformat or delet everything on my computer?

I need to the know the dimensions of a photo I have saved on my computer. It’s saved as a JPEG File, and I’m using ArcSoft PhotoStudio. There is a person sending in the photo so I can use them as a reference point but I need the steps to set up values in the software so I can click and drag a line and have actual values come up. Can anyone help with this?

I have a small business and my laptop is getting old. The POS software that I use for all of my accounting and database management doesn’t exist anymore. The company went out of business so there is no hope of getting another copy of my software. I back up the data everyday, but the data is useless without the software. How can I transfer the program to another computer hard drive and still have it work? I have tried this several times using the backup function of the program, but when I try to open the program on the new computer there are files missing so it wont run.
If there is a way to copy my HD so that my program will work on another computer PLEASE help me!
I do not have any disks to re-load the program because it was an online downloadable program so there never were any disks.

I have a great idea for some business software, I don’t know where to start, who to ask, or anything, I would have to have it already made to be able to sell it. Would someone who designs software, be called a computer programmer? I don’t have any idea! Thanks for any help!

I just upgraded my desktop to Windows 7 Pro, it will find everything on my wireless network except my laptop running XP home. I have ran through the network setup on both machines & restarted each. I only see how to setup a homegroup which requires W7 on each.

While i was organizing photos into folders,Ii was clicking randomly and found something called Photo Rrecover. I have a HP laptop/notebook with Window 7 and IE 8. There is Smart Media and Picasa.I have searched my computer but cannot seem to find it. Since it is on the computer or a program I use with the computer, there is no need to download such a program/software – which I do need. i would appreciate any help that is provided.

The windows 98 laptop doesn’t accept the jump drive I usually use to transport documents, but it does accept Floppy Disks, which my windows XP doesn’t have. I can’t exactly email it to myself because the windows 98 doesn’t have internet access. Is there some way I could transfer the document to the laptop?
