Thank for Helping
I am in need of a software for invoicing plus accounting for my business of Whole Sale dealing in Books & School Stationary Materials.
I run a small-medium sized kitchen cabinets company, we write both quote/estimates with invoices at a later date, have 20+ vendors, no credit card/debit, no cash register, all cheque/cash payments received, plus I would like to have a personal estimate form as opposed to a standard estimate forms, keep track of some inventories, i always write cheques, never print, no refund or credit given.
I tried quickbooks pro in the past but I was wondering if I should try enterprise, just did not know the differences.
thanks in advance.
The company will be providing IT consulting at first and then move on to sell computers and computer hardware.
Your father runs a small auto body shop. He has decided to computerize his records and has asked you to explain the basics of accounting to him so that he can enter the data into his accounting software.
* Explain to him the rules of debits and credits for the balance sheet and income statement.
* Provide examples from the manufacturing industry of:
o a journal entry that would be recorded that impacts the balance sheet.
o a journal entry that would be recorded affecting the income statement.
* Please provide the assumptions behind the transactions and the full journal entries.
I am an accountant for a large corporation and want to do bookkeeping for small businesses from home on a part-time basis. I have used QuickBooks when I did this in the past and was pleased but wanted to know if there were other choices that would be better.
Everyone seems to be using QUICKBOOKS. I have heard good & bad things about it. If I do get Quickbooks, which version should I get? I own a small insurance agency.
If I go the Quickbooks route, what product is best? Quickbooks Pro, Simple Start, etc…? I would guess my accounting needs are minimal. I just need to track payroll, expenses, etc. No inventory or invoices…
