I want to create a map from an imported Excel file that will visually have markers of where our employees live relative to our company. Is there any freeware/opensource software out there to do this? I believe real estate agents use something of this sort….

I think it is neat to give homeowners a type of “map” of all the wiring. I thought that there might be a software in the market that would allow me to quickly create and print such map. Is that possible? Which software is that? If not, how do electricians “register” what they have done for future use?

im looking for a USA (or the world) map that works like mapquest (well as long as it can zoom down to street names) that doesnt require internet. software that save all the data in the computer so i can use it when internet is out of reach.

I dont have internet in my house. I browse in browsing centers. So I need a software in which i can browse the world like in yahoo map or google earth without internet connection after the download of that software. If not software is there any way in doing this.

I have to visit 48 locations and I would like to see an overview of everywhere I have to go so I can plot a course that makes sense. Is there any software or website out there that will let me import the address from openoffice spreadsheet for free? I can use google maps but I have to enter each one individually and I want to avoid that.
