I’m planning on getting a Kindle, and my biggest concern is whether or not I can somehow get all of the ebooks I already bought from the Kindle for PC into my Kindle without having to pay for them again. I appreciate any useful answers!

I just ordered a Kindle yesterday and I am trying to get an approximation of how long it will take to ship. Has anyone recently ordered one and received it? How long did it take from you placing the order until Amazon let you know that it has shipped? Just curious… Thanks!

When I try to connect it never asks me for a password, it just says it is unable to connect, try again later. I have restarted the Kindle but it continues to do the same thing. I know the wifi is running properly because my iPad is connecting. Please help!

That may sound confusing but what I mean is like when I download a sample kindle book on my kindle, it looks real pretty; the paragraphs are all intact and spaced out and all the words are correct.

However when I download an ebook (some in pdf, others already in .mobi) and try to convert it, it looks horrible. Paragraphs are virtually nonexistent and words are all jacked up.

Any tips!!?

I downloaded the manual to see if I want to buy a Kindle. If refers to entering a password to get onto a wi-fi network. My experience has shown that an ID and password are required. Does anyone have experience with using a Kindle at a hotspot and not a home network?

I am planning to buy a kindle, and I am debating over these two, but I dont really understand it….
I dont really need to go online and I have okay eyesight. Im mostly going to be listening to audiobooks and reading real books on it.

I have never owned an ereader before and am very eager to get one.
could I please get some feedback from someone who really has these ereaders?

I have never used an Amazon Kindle but looking at their prices I see that they cost as much as some Notebook computers and they are more expensive than a lot of netbooks. What does a Kindle do that a comparable price notebook computer does not do? It seems to me that a cheaper netbook or notebook can do all that a KIndle would do but so much more. Please advise if you have experience with a Kindle.

I want to use a silicone skin case on Kindle 2 while reading. However, I need more protection when I put it in my purse. Is there another case that will hold Kindle with skin still on it? Preferably not too bulky.

I’m able to transfer books from my kindle to the kindle pc app but I’m not able to figure out how to transfer books that I have downloaded onto my kindle pc to get them to my kindle. Any suggestions? Thank you
