Bible Software Archives

The ones you have to pay for are garbage and painful to look at. Anyone know a downloadable Bible program so I can use my computer to do research when I’m not connected to the internet?

I am trying to do a teaching on God and peoples’ questions about God. Does anyone know how many questions there are in the Bible? If you know how to do a search of the text but only look for ? [question marks] and can post that, I would be really grateful! I am currently counting the # in Psalms, and through Psalm 18, there are twenty-one questions asked of God or about God. Help me, YahooAnswers, you’re my only hope!

Why is it Christians treat the Bible like a software license. They don’t read it critically but just do something similar to clicking ‘I agree.’

I have a Palm TX and need the new international version Bible.

What I would like to be able to do is first search the english word, then after finding the greek word be able to search the greek word in the texus receptus, and LXX. I have software that has Strongs Dictionary, but you can’t cross reference the greek words. That way I could see what words in the greek LXX old testament were equivalent in the new testament, and also be able to to word searches by greek words.

I want the software for this but not where you buy it online… is there one available in stores some where?

I have a Mac computer and in really big need of a King James Version Bible study software. There is a lot of nice KJV Bible study software out there for Windows, but not for Macs. Any ideas?

If you can email me or post on here.

I would like to create a customized Study Bible with notes and cross-references in it, but am having trouble finding the appropriate software on the Net. I have all the material I just need to compile it. Will you help me?

I can’t seem to find any good free versions. It seems that everyone wants money. If they were truely concerned about the future of the community, they wouldn’t charge so much money for the software.
