I’m just wondering if it is in their legal rights to tell me to stop selling their items on eBay. The retailer is a small, clothing store boutique by the way. I buy the products straight from their online store and resell them for a profit on eBay and now they have caught on to my actions and emailed me saying to “cease and destroy” and that it’s against their rights that I’m reselling their items and using their trademark and brand. They also said that I have to deliver back all the items that I have under my possession with their trademark or brand on it so that they can destroy it because they have a feeling that I am reproducing fakes or replicas of their brand and/or trademark but the truth is, all my items that I have with their trademark or brand logo on it is directly ordered from their online store. I even have the order invoices in my email to prove that I did indeed order the items straight from them. In fact,all the products I bought from them are still in their original boxes that they sent it to me in. Sorry for the long description but they are demanding a response within a couple of days. I need legal help here cause I do not want to get in legal trouble. Thanks!

alrighty then. the bottom of my laptop gets so hot that the metal on the side, like where plugs go in, almost burns you, literally. when right side up, it is hottest on the bottom on the left side. and this happens whether it is on a table or not.

i talked with hp, i have a full factory warranty until january 24th 2010.

a friend who’s taking the same sort of classes in college that i’ll be taking said i need a different laptop anyway with a faster processor

mine is only a 1.9 on this computer

with my warranty, i can get it fixed and shipped and all that completely free, but it would take over two weeks. as soon as i get my school money in my account, i am going to pay hp $16 and some change and get expedited service repair, only totaling 6-8 days. but first, i need to talk with my brother and save all my files and music, because my hard drive will be wiped, they said.

when it comes back from the factory, it should be ready to just sell. now, i can sell it back to hp, but the rep said it would be more profitable to sell it on ebay or craigslist.

i have calculated some figures and am looking on hp’s website, for a new laptop i could purchase for school. for around $1000, i could get a 1066 MHz frontside bus, 2.26 GHz processor, possible some sort of dual processor. now that $1000 would come from reselling my current laptop, after it is fixed (by the way, you can buy replacement laptop keys right? my v, b, and spacebar got messed up somehow, just the key, not the button, because they still work as you can see)

and the rest of the $1000 for a new computer could come from grant, my paycheck, possibly mom (mom said she might help with books, and i didn’t need her help with those, but either way it is fine.)

also, what, in your opinion, type of computer/processor/video card/RAM/anything should i get to be best compatible with adobe cs4 design set? my classes are the adobe cs4 stuff, so that’s definitely what i need.

(side note: have you heard anything about windows 7? supposedly the new microsoft OS newer than vista coming out in october?)

craigslist looks like a much better option

and it will be like it is brand new, because i’m sending it to hp’s service repair center under warranty because the bottom gets hot. once they fix that, it will also be completely wiped and ready to sell.

i’m thinking of doing this in the next couple two or three weeks.

sorry but i do not know the mac system, nor do i want to even learn.

I want to make sure I claim all my expenses for my small business this tax year. Not sure if the people reselling my software at a 28% discount is considered a expense or not.

Example – I sell a software for $180.00 and the reseller also sells this for $180.00 (but they get a discount of 28% – so I sell this to them for $129.60)
So would this be an expense of $50.40 for my business?

I bought an account for a certain website for $300 (CDN) on ebay. The person who sold the account, gave me the info right after the purchase and i was very happy. But around a month or two later the person took back the account, changing all the information for it (before the person claimed that he cant do so). Not only the person took the account i paid for, but also some “fictional” objects that i have put into the account (worth around $330 american). What can I do? Can i sue the person? I know the persons full name and where the person is from (Just the town). The person is reselling the item on ebay how can i prevent others from getting scammed the same way???
I dont care if loose money by suing him. I just want him to pay me back. I dont want someone else to pay me back (i do, but not as much) i want him to do it.
