I recently purchased an atv. at the time, i could afford it with no problem. but, as my luck goes, i found out recently that i no longer can afford it and will HAVE to get rid of it. i’ve only ridden it once because this came up and i’ve been scared to drive it since. it only has 14 miles on it so its pretty much brand new. i was wondering if i took it back voluntarily, will it still hurt my credit? shouldnt they be able to resale it for about the same price since it only has 14 miles on it? very unlucky circumstances for me that these money problems came up right after i bought the atv. somebody please help!

I bought a piece of land from someone. This person buys land, resells them to people who cannot get traditional financing. So, the deal is, he doesn’t check credit or job references, but hangs onto the deed until it is paid in full. There is a contract between him and the buyer as proof of ownership. He allows development on the land without exception.
Now here is the deal. He has so much going on, that he accidentally sold my lot. He meant to sell a different lot. I am currently not using the land as it is for retirement.
The land is now in the new owner’s name on the deed.
Is this sale legal? Can I sue/win that he had no right to sell my land?
What would the process be to do so? What court?
This is a sale between someone who lives in AZ, bought in HI, and the owner is in TX. So, wouldn’t even know where to begin.
He is offering another lot-which is not acceptable to me or to refund my payments. The land is worth more now than I bought it for-so wouldn’t cancel.
Lawyers?
I don’t want my money back. I want my land. I want to somehow default this sale he made. I want it to be declared illegal and nonbinding.
This is not a leasehold property.
The contract states that I own the land as long as my payments are made and that the deed will be recorded in my name as soon as the loan is paid in full. To me, this is breach of contract. There is no way that I leased this, I BOUGHT this.
This is such a mess. Bostonian…. are you a lawyer? Why the attitude? I am not a prelaw student, thus the question.
If the contract states I can build on the land, I own it. He was the recorded owner. But it is not like a car lease. I didn’t have a term and then it was over was my point. It was a loan to buy.

Obama claims to support the 2nd amendment… but:

- He supports a ban on the resale of police issued firearms, even if the money is going to police departments for replacement equipment.
Why does he claim to support the 2nd amendment when his actions have been the opposite? Has he had a sudden change of heart? (In that case, does it make him “wishy-washy”?) Or is he just saying that to try to pick up voters?
The 2nd amendment *is* an individual right. Supreme Court even ruled on it a few months ago. Why don’t you look up “District of Columbia vs. Heller”?

I plan too within the next year or so drop in a supra 2jz-gte twin turbo engine with a 6-Speed RWD Manual Transmission all from toyota. It will cost me around 7,000 not including labor and fees, I plan to work on the car myself so I can take it to car shows. Now before anyone says no do take into mind my car shares same engine with supra, the 2jz-ge (non-turbo) and the newer engine can easily fit right in. As for parts the engine/transmission are both bought and come with everything i need to swap it out. Question I have is anyone hear of anyone swapping it and has been done without any flaws? I know the older GS300 before 1998 can have this swap done with time and money, but what about the second gen model type like mine? Trust me I would rather do this then go find and supra then spent 3 times the money and be the same dude at a show. I want to do this to a luxury car so its like an M5 and drives like a supra. I don’t plan to ever sell this car so don’t worry I don’t care about resale value. I want opinions from lexus techs and people who have seen this done or have links. I’m not a professional at lexus and I know the computers will be hard to work with, but I plan to get a civic or something and just make this a show car. Any ideas, links, and reason why or why not I should try this. If I have too, I will make a custom cover around the trans area and where cup holders are to make this work.

This is what happens every night (pretty much 98%):
My next door neighbor who is buying non-working cars from some place, and they try to fix it for resale. At the same time with their usable cars parallel parked next to the side curb (Including the space where suppose to me my curb parking space…). But this causes me a problem, because when my friends come over, they have no where to park….I tried to address the issue with my neighbor, but they won’t listen. What can I do at this point?
Plus, the space the cars were parked at is right in front of a fire hydrant (but the curb is not painted other color), I afraid once it comes to emergency, this issue might become a huge live or die situation! What can I do?

We are buying a small piece of land from an individual. It will be paid off next year. He came by today to inform me that someone had offered to buy the mortgage from him. He said he’s not going to sell and that the person might try to buy it from us. He suggested that we ignore the offer. Can he sell the land that we’re buying to someone else? If it’s legal, what are our rights, if any? The whole thing sounds very odd to me.
Just in case anyone is wondering, our payments are always on time. Other than by reason of default, how could he take this land back and resell it? We would be out of a lot of money since it’s almost paid off.

I have a 2000 Oldsmobile Alero and I am planning on selling it to a friend. To do this, I need to know what price to start at. So here’ a bit about the car:
2000 Oldsmobile Alero
Brownish burgundy in color
approximately 110k miles
It currently has a broken back left tail light (light works, just glass is broken.)– could get this fixed if it significantly affects my resale value
it’s got a problem with the windows. I think they all need new motors.
Also it has some slight chipping parts in the back in the paint, but nothing serious.
Inside, the dash is peeling a bit and the ceiling cloth is starting to sag a bit?
Also, the light in the roof works, but doesn’t fit quite right anymore (I think they screw thing is just stripped)
So I bought the car for 3500 2 years ago.
It’s been a really good car, and I haven’t had any problems with it running at all.
Has original CD player and fun stuff like that.
Cruise doesn’t work, but I don’t think that’s a big deal, really.
It is a great car, aside from a few little problems.

Any ideas??
